Illustration Friday - Glamour
(in black and white)
Sometimes glamour is not what it appears to be.
I am still working on the color version of this image but, I thought I would post the black and white for the moment. I have been very focused and keeping myself busy. I am all done with my promo card and I would love to hear your feedback- I could use the constructive criticism. Also, if anyone has any idea of good printing options; I'd love to hear any suggestions. I have Vista prints and Rocket postcards currently in mind. If there are any others out there please let me know; or if you have had any good or bad experiences with either one of the above- I'm all ears. Stay tune for Glamour- in color. Thanks Guys!

After the work you've illustrated, your actor doesn't look too happy with her found glamour ... it will look great once coloured!
No point in International printing advice but good luck!
I like it,
love
The red carpet... or I'm guessing that's what it'll be with color, which I'm looking forward to seeing. This is great. As far as Conan vs. the Bear, I don't stay up late enough to know what this is all about. Went to the link here on your blog and see a ton of art on the subject... of which yours is a standout.
Hi Wilnara! I read on Rozzieland.blog.com she asked in Dec. if anyone knew anything about Vista and another artist said they were not good but that www.overnightprints.com was good. The post is called mooving right along and you can read the comment section where they discuss this very topic. I use Modernpostcard but you have to do 500 min. I have been using them for years and they are great! On another note I love your drawing and can't wait to see the colour version! I will stay tuned... Your work is wonderful, whimsical and so different from everyone else!
You have put a genuine smile on my face! Thanks you for this great take on Miss America. Keep working. The kids will be grown up before you can think about it!
I like the lines in this, so I can't wait to see the coloured version.
I don't know anything about printing. I'm just an amateur with a pencil, pad, and paintshop pro...
Wow your ideas are really flowing. So far I realy like how you have created this montage of glamour. Looking forward to seeing it in color.
sorry I cannot help with the printing. I'm thinking you should also do a promo card with characters like you created here.
I love the energy of the sketch...I can't wait to see it in color! I love your card, but Like Twisselman, I don't know anything about Conan. Your characters are wodnerful:>
Thanks so much everyone. Val great feedback I took a look at both those sites and I may lean towards overnightprints. Toni, what a great idea. I think I just may choose an image in the whimsical style as a seperate postcard. You guys are all so wonderful and I really do appreciate all the support and wonderful words.
